Bill grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and moved to Portland in the Summer of 2008. In addition to holding almost every possible job in the restaurant industry including manager, server, bartender, and cook Bill has also worked in radio, television, film, real estate, and technology consulting.
He graduated from the University of Richmond with degrees in History, Communications, and Theater Arts.
In the early 1990’s Bill created and produced a television show called The Restaurant Show that aired weekly in Delaware on cable. He also was the radio voice of University of Delaware football and basketball for fifteen years earning the state award for Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association in 2006.
Bill also maintained a successful Real Estate business as an agent, consultant, and investor. He has been providing bookkeeping services for several years.
Pam grew up in Connecticut but has lived in Portland for over fifteen years. She received her undergrad degree from the University of Iowa and her masters from the University of Texas. Pam has worked at several area landmark restaurants as a bookkeeper, server, bartender, and manager.
In 2003 Pam helped Portland chef John Taboada open up Navarre. In addition to serving and occasionally cooking, Pam maintains Navarre’s books providing full-charge bookkeeping and payroll services.
Pam has been instrumental in Navarre’s incredible success. Her bookkeeping expertise has allowed Taboada to concentrate on the food, wine, and atmosphere without having to worry about the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
In 2009 Navarre was named Restaurant of the Year by The Oregonian and continues to be a Portland phenomenon.
